Not Exactly a Total Transformation....

In my last post I told you about the It Works! Body Wrap. The consultant came over to my house today for my final measurement and I lost a whopping 3 1/2 inches total. Not as much as I was expecting; but maybe just enough to help motivate me to stick to my work out routine so I can see real results.

The It Works! Body Wrap

A local gym in my area has been promoting the IT Works! Body Wraps recently. The claim is that in just 45 minutes, you will lose inches of your problem areas. It is supposed to work by ridding your body of toxins. It only cost $30, so I thought why not try it?

The consultant came to my house and took my measurements. She marked me with a sharpie so that she would be able to take my measurements in the same spot later. The wrap smelled like vicks and burned like icy hot. I was advised to use a hot compress before the application to open my pores; and to drink a lot of water during the wrap to see the best results.

When she removed the wrap, I had lost an inch and a half. The consultant told me that it takes 72 hours to see the full results. Again, I was advised to drink tons of water in the mean time. I will be re-measured on Monday. I will post the final results.

Black Friday is very similar to a Zombie Apocalypse...either you are part of the horde, or you are in hiding! I braved the midnight crowd at Victoria's Secret last night and although I enjoyed my freebies, I think I will stick to Cyber Monday going forward!

Dirty Laundry

I read an article today on Yahoo! news about Martha Stewart's daughter's new tell all book. READ IT HERE. Apparently Martha was an embarrassing and overbearing parent. I am in no way shape or form defending her parenting skills or making excuses for her; but I have to ask, is this really a smart move on Alexis' part? Sure this exploitation will bring her 15 minutes of fame and a little cash, but it certainly won't be improving the relationship. It just seems so wrong to me.
